You wouldn't have been so envious of the tumble I took on the mossy rocks! But yeah, it was gorgeously historic and mysterious and holding tight to so many secrets with just a few little glimpses into something magical. And then there was all the "walking over delicately carved ancient doorway lintels" which was disturbing and oh so wrong!
